How long have you been working at the ReStore? For one year; I have also been volunteering for several years with the Deconstruction Crew and the Green Team.
What’s your favorite part of working at the ReStore? Interacting with the customers, the staff, and the other volunteers.
Previous or current profession: Retired from a career with the Red Cross.
Hobbies: Gardening, hiking, reading, music
What is the strangest item you have seen come through the ReStore? Hard to say which is the strangest . . . . . but I really enjoy seeing (and selling!) the oddball items that are donated.
Favorite memory or what you like about working at the ReStore? Being part of a community effort to “reuse and recycle”; helping to provide housing.
